How to apply for an apartment under “Point-Free”

1. Register and pay the queue fee

Start by registering as a home seeker and paying the queue fee to Boplats Växjö (boplats.vaxjo.se) External link, opens in new window.. Here you can read more about the queue fee.

If you’re already registered with Boplats Växjö, you can skip this step.

2. Check your details and documents

Make sure we have the correct contact details so you don’t miss an apartment offer. You can view and update your contact details under Account and My details.

Also remember to upload proof of income or studies. You do this under My search and Applicant profile.

3. Register your interest quickly

To register interest, go to the current apartment ad under Point-Free and click the Register Interest button. Then follow the instructions.

You can have a maximum of five (5) active interest registrations at a time. If you want to register for another apartment, you must remove one of your existing registrations.

4. Attend a viewing*

If you’re one of the six (6) fastest applicants, you’ll be offered a viewing. The person who registered interest first and accepts the offer will get the apartment. Make sure to respond before the deadline.

If someone ahead of you declines or cannot be reached, the offer will go to the next person. We’ll contact you if that happens.

*Sometimes we can’t offer a viewing, and you may need to decide whether to accept without seeing the apartment.

5. Sign the rental agreement

Have you been offered an apartment, accepted, and meet the criteria in our rental policy? Congratulations! It’s time to sign the contract. You can sign using Mobile BankID or at our customer center.

Before signing, we check that you meet the criteria in our rental policy. This includes verifying that you have no payment defaults and that your income covers the rent.

6. Congratulations, it’s time to move in!
