Keys and Locks – How Does It Work?
Need to pick up your keys? Read how key collection works in our guide:
📌 Move-In Guide for Your Student Apartment
Having trouble unlocking with your key?
Some student apartments use electronic keys. When using one, make sure the blue side is facing right. This key is used for your apartment and the bicycle storage.
Do you live at PG Vejdes väg 15–17 or Vejdes plats 2–4? Then you’ll also need the key for the recycling room.
How to lock/unlock at PG Vejdes väg 10, 12, 14, and 16:
- To unlock: Insert the key and turn it
- To lock: Lift the handle until it clicks → insert the key and turn it
How do I report a maintenance issue?
The easiest way is to log in to My Pages, where you can submit a maintenance request 24/7.

Do I pay rent during the summer?
No, summer is rent-free! The annual rent is divided over 10 months (August 16 – June 15).
Do you have a shorter contract that includes the summer period? In that case, we adjust the rent to a 12-month rate.
What is Bokoll, and how often is it done?
Bokoll is our housing eligibility check, conducted once per semester. We check that you’ve completed at least 15 ECTS credits from the previous term.
There are exceptions, for example in cases of:
- Doctoral studies
- Medical leave (with certificate)
- Parental leave
- Military service
- Approved study leave (max 6 months with documentation)
